Options Mankato was established in 2015 to offer hope and unconditional support to those facing unplanned pregnancies. We spent our first two years in the former Newman Center house on Warren Street, after which we moved into Suite 011 in the Brett’s Building, a hidden gem in downtown Mankato across from the Mayo Clinic Event Center. Since then we have served hundreds of women and families in our community through our services.
Options has moved into the building of our dreams.
In 2026, the time came for us to change from renting to owning our own building to accommodate our growing numbers, expand our reach, and update our services. Options Mankato moved to the former Mayo Clinic Northridge building in North Mankato in January 2026. We’ve already made huge strides in reducing our mortgage, and our goal is to eliminate our building debt by November 1, 2026.

The Future of Options Mankato
The new address of Options Mankato since January 2026 is 1695 Lor Ray Dr, North Mankato, MN 56003. Conveniently located near US highway 14 and down the road from South Central College, this location is accessible for clients in Mankato and the surrounding areas, and easy to locate especially if they were familiar with the former Northridge Clinic. Options Mankato is sub-letting part of the building to New Birth Wellness Center, a midwife birth center which, though unaffiliated, will help our clients to know that they truly have options for birthing their child.
The parking lot is expansive, allowing for the staff and clients of both Options and New Birth. There’s enough room in the parking lot to host events, perhaps even to expand if we needed to build more facilities in the future. Inside the building we are able to maintain the same friendly and supportive atmosphere that we had in the Brett’s Building. And with floor-level access, nervous first-time clients and struggling moms with strollers have even less of a barrier to receive that welcoming greeting and feel at home right away.
We’re most excited about the increased space in the floorplan. In the Lor Ray building, each staff member has their own office, and each service has designated rooms, ensuring quality and privacy. This will be especially important as we expand our services in the next few years to include medical examinations and consultations relating to body literacy, reproductive and sexual health, and prenatal care.
During the months Options has been open on Lor Ray Drive, our clients and staff have already felt the impact of our new location. The number of ultrasounds has doubled, with 18 ultrasounds in April alone. We’ve implemented the medical services of body literacy education and STI testing. And we’ve been able to hold numerous public and private open houses so that our supporters can see firsthand what we do. However, we’re only able to grow so fast while we are using a percentage of our funds to pay off debt on our building.
